For commercial real estate brokers
Every call on the record, the local news read for you, and the flowers sent on time.
Commercial real estate runs on who you know and when you call. The Open CRM puts your phone system's calls on each contact, has an agent read the local paper and permit filings every week, turns what it finds into moments on the right people, and drafts the note or the gift. You approve every one.
Free to start, no card. After signup, setup opens with the CRE kit's extensions ready to turn on. Nothing changes until you approve it.
What is in the kit
Each piece says plainly whether it is in every workspace today or arrives with this release.
- Your phone system, on the timeline (New in this release). Connect your own Aircall, Quo (formerly OpenPhone), JustCall or Twilio number. Calls land on the contact, company and deal with the duration, a recording link and a summary when your system sends a transcript. A missed call becomes a follow-up task. Every phone system here is checked against its documented events in a simulated mode; none has run on a customer account yet, so yours would be the first. Dialpad, RingCentral and GoTo Connect connect too. GoTo Connect calls arrive within the hour (it has no live events yet).
- Agents that read the local news every week (New in this release). Point the news watch at your town's paper (its own RSS feed), and the market watch at permit, zoning and new-business feeds. Once a week they read, match what they find to your contacts and companies, and propose a moment, a company or a deal. An add-on you switch on; price to be announced. Public pages and feeds only, robots.txt respected, never past a login or a paywall. They propose; they never send. CoStar and LoopNet data are licensed, so they are not read.
- Moments on every contact (New in this release). Birthdays, graduations, weddings, a new baby, a promotion, a retirement, a loss in the family. The agent suggests one with the quote and the link it came from; you confirm or dismiss it. Birthdays get a reminder a week out.
- Gifts, with a person in the loop (New in this release). Send through your own Sendoso or Loop & Tie account, where the recipient can pick the gift and give their own address. For the florist down the street, you get a task with the order link and the card message ready to paste. Gifts above your approval amount wait for an owner. Sympathy gifts are never sent automatically, even by an agent that runs on its own, and the card never mentions business.
- Decagon, if your clients use it (Early). Escalations from Decagon's AI agents become cases on the right contact, and its conversations land on the timeline. Decagon reads your deals and contacts through a read-only key you create. Built against Decagon's documented conversation and escalation shapes and tested against a stand-in. Your Decagon account team turns on API access.
- A workspace set up for brokerage (New in this release). Three boards: tenant rep, landlord rep and investment sales. Property address, building square feet, asking rent and lease expiration on the record, a task 180 days before a lease expires, and the reading agents installed in preview so you see what they would do first.
How it fits together
News, then a moment, then a gift, then a deal. A week might look like this.
- The news watch reads the business journal and finds "Dana Ortiz named CFO at Lakeview Logistics."
- Dana is in your contacts, so it suggests a moment on her record with the quote and the link.
- You confirm it. A congratulations note and a gift are drafted for you to look over.
- You approve. The gift goes out, it shows on Dana's timeline, and "Call Dana about Lakeview's lease" is on your list for next week.
Already in every workspace
- Deals on more than one board (Live today). Separate pipelines per deal type, each with its own stages. Edit them any time.
- Email, calendar and texts (Live today). Gmail and Outlook on the timeline, Calendly bookings that create the contact, and two-way texts through your own Twilio number.
- A copilot that asks first (Live today). Ask who has gone quiet or what to do today. Every change it suggests is a card you approve.
- Yours (Live today). Open source under AGPL-3.0. Hosted from $15 a seat, or self-host for $0. Export everything, any time.
